Blackie's favourite food is
cooked chicken breast (like who wouldn't!)
The moment the word 'chicken' is mentioned...
his eyes pop wide and seems to forget he has arthritis
Standing to attention!
We have to resort to spelling the word!
but I swear he knows how to spell!
His eyes drill into one of us until he gets what he wants!
No need to explain what word was mentioned here!

My Goliath knows the word "treat" we spell it out too but he still chirps and runs to the cat pole to collect. LOL Smart kitties! I don't think any kitty is too fond of the vet, eh? He looks pretty happy back by the fire, though. So cute. xxD dlmundinger(at)yahoo(dot)com USA

Oh Blackie is adorable. My Cindy somehow KNOWS whenever you get her favorites out--lettuce, cheese, crab meat (that she probably smells) and Nestle Qwik pink milk. How does she know?! She is right there tapping your leg with her paw. Your project life project is spot on. My cats can relate to all those things--hiding in case of dogs, refusing to get out of the carrier and then not wanting to go back in and running off as soon as they get home.

Blackie is so cute! My current batch of kitties don't like treats (Never had any cats not like them, and 3 out of four turn their nose up at them - makes medicine time especially hellish!) but my prior tribe knew the word & even if we spelled it - they are so clever! Lovely scrap layout - I have been meaning to scrap my cats, I have a bunch of stuff to do it, but. . . ;)

I had to chuckle at your LO abt getting him in and out of the carrier! My vet hubby sees this all the time....at home, cats don't want to get in the carrier and at the clinic, they don't want to get out! Ha. He's the Cat Whisperer, though, and once he gets them untangled from their blanket inside the carrier and gets all 4 legs out, they nestle into his arms and purr. The owners are amazed.
Your LO is wonderful. My favorite shot is back at home in front of the fire. Sweet!!!
