My layout today features my mum (85) and her new companion Gracie... they hit it off straight away. Gracie is 7yrs old and a quite the little 'lady'. Suits my mum to a tee!

My mom is also 85 years old, but she doesn't want any more pets. I go there regularly with our dog. She enjoys this time very much, my dog too, because he gets a lot of treats. Unfortunately, I can't take our cats with me, because they don't like the car ride at all.

Your mum is amazing for taking on a new kitty. It will keep her young at heart and provide endless entertainment - the photos are just heartwarming. It's so lovely that Yassi and Minnie get close - I always dreamed of this when I had 2 kitties, but it never happened as they each preferred their own space and woe betide the one who strayed into the other's territory :)

Aaaaaw, this page touches my heart, as your other pages have as well. I'm so happy for your Mum to have Gracie for love and companionship. So nice to see Yassi there too! I meant to ask about the watercolours at the top of each post... did you do them yourself! They are beautiful!
I also wanted to thank you for the sweet comments on my blog, especially on Brian's cards. Everyone's kind words have boosted his confidence. He knows he has a brain injury from his stroke and he wasn't sure he could do it. I was hoping for one card and he surprised me by colouring enough for 5 cards! He was able to make all of the design choices himself, with no input from me, and I think he even surprised himself that he hasn't lost his creativity! Thank you for your encouragement and compassion!

Oh, Mandy, what a wonderful LO!! Love so much that look of joy and affection on your Mom's face. Gracie is so purr-fect for her. This is truly a beautiful thing.
Yassi and Minnie are adorable together. I know all about that occasional lashing out. In our house we say...."She accidentally got too close (to the other cat) and had to swat!" Kind of a pre-emptive strike! Ha. Cats!!!
I love your original art that you lead your posts with. You have such a knack for capturing the essence of each kitty's personality. Fabulous!!
