Even though Paige has only 3 weeks home with us,
she was asked to join her old quartet for a concert
Panicked she hadn't picked up her violin since February,
she managed to get time alone on stage, just her with me watching, and the acoustics...
She starts with Vivaldi's Four Seasons,
her favourite and knows it by heart. As soon as she lifted that bow
to her violin, I was searching through my bag for my camera but stopped in my tracks...
it was as if she had never stopped playing.
She moves her body, lowers and lifts her violin like she dances with it
and it sung. I managed to grab my camera for this moment in a big empty space
She doesn't even notice me......consumed, there was no
'Oh mum, no photos - trying to concentrate'
I will never get sick of hearing her play.
