How great to have somewhere to show artwork - not that mine is anything complicated,
but all the same - its an extension of scrapbooking or perhaps more like scrapbooking became the extension of art :) All the same, thought I'd show this:
Black textured paper with white watercolour pencil...
Just a quick little sketch and add water :)
It almost feels like a figure on stage and the shadow of the lights on the black curtain behind it...

I totally loved the layered embellishment shown on the blog here,
So thought I'd get some made out of my kit too with some circle and heart punches
So simple with a little bit of stitching :)
Quite quick and easy! Just need to use them now!

Where do you find these quirky challenges? Looks interesting! And thanks for the feedback on the kit idea for the retreat. DEFFO doing that now! Will probably be, as you say, as much fun as the actual scrapping!!! Oh, & the embellies look FABULOUS!!!!
