Total Devastation.....Bush Fires..
I had to post this here. We've had such a terrible disaster with Bush Fires raging through Victoria. Our state has just sent over a huge team of fire fighters to help along with 35 fire vehicles. As it stands tonight 5000 people are homeless, over 130 are dead and the toll is rising. Over 750 homes destroyed - that number is still rising too. Many are critically injured, some not expected to live. Over 40,000 hectarces are burnt. Not only human loss, pets, livestock and our wildlife. Its too sad to relate so much so, I had to turn my tv off

Wowwwwwww....this is TRULY devastating Mandy.....sad sad sad....I have seen some other Aussie bloggers talking about this.....but seriously....WOW WOW WOW, that photo LITERALLY takes my breath away....how touching and heartwarming is that????? WOW!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing this....and please keep us updated, sadly, USA news isn't touching on this much :(
I saw this on the news, it's just terrible. My heart goes out to all the people affected by this desaster. And Mandy oh my, that photo tells a story of its own doesn't it, it's absolutely gorgeous. TFS.

Mandy, this picture is so beautiful and so touching!! I think about you a lot these last days, because of this fires. we hear and see about it on the radio and tv constantly and it makes me feel so worried about all those people who are involved in this terrible desaster!
It was just on the news that 2 man were arrested for making this fire!!!!!! Why does someone do something like that????????? They are murderers...

I was thinking about you when I heard, it's all over the news here in Norway too. Devastating, so sad and so mad - what drives a person or persons to do this. So sad for the injured, the homeless - thank you so much for sharing this touching photo! *best to you all*
Mandy this is so sad and tragic. I've been hearing about this at SiS and on yahoo news. I'm so sorry - you and all the people affected by this are in my thoughts and prayers. That photo is absolutely incredible. It brought tears to my eyes. Wow. Thank you for sharing.

Just so tragic!!! My heart goes out to you and those who call Austraila home!!! It is so reassuring to find tender, sweet moments amidst tragedies and that photo warms my heart!! Hoping for better news in the days to come!!
My heart truly hurts with all of this news. They will all be in my prayers. That photo is such a testimony of strength, courage and trust. Wow, it brought tears to my eyes. You are all in my thoughts.
