Paint Party Friday, Our Beautiful World.....

Week 33

I've missed the last few weeks through being terribly busy,
and its been so nice today to stop, de-stress, be still, quiet and scribble....

You can find so much inspiration
Paint Party Friday

----------------------------------------------

The theme this week is

Couldn't go past 'Blackie'  - yes, black and perfect for Halloween theme AND.....
literally and physically  BOO is the perfect word as
he is SCARED of outside!
Even when he plucks the courage up to wander out the back door....
and even heading towards the fence-line something always happens!

This time, poor old Blackie (arthritic 17yrs old) wandered to the fence,
and out of nowhere two big dogs jumped around and barked sensing he was there..
Two big dogs that have never lived there before nor are there now (neighbour must have been dog-sitting for a couple of days!)  I was photographing the flowers in the back garden (hence Blackie's courage to wander further) when it happened, and managed to capture Blackie big-eyed and dashing past the wheelbarrow to the back door!

His heart was racing... and now, only goes as far as the backdoor mat to sit upon.
Sigh.

Hope you share your photography 'Boo' stories

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Some reminders too!

And speaking of cats........
This one is nearly here...
Some great challenges coming up!!
It will be good to get some cat antics recorded in albums and/or cards done!!

-----------------------------------------

Don't forget to join in

Small dots or spots and distinct outline

Love to see you there!

------------------------------------------------------

And something is going on over at

----------------------------------------

xx

I always enjoy a repurposed book and your rabbit is a dear, as is his advice.

Another terrific page in your journal ... I'd love to sit and read it from cover to cover ... Oh your poor cat! I had one just like Blackie and she used to be out all the time ... until we moved here - never crossed the doorstep after that she was so scared. It will always haunt me...(sigh)

That's a sweet black cat; I wouldn't be scared at all if it crossed my path...day or night :>)
Cheers,

I LOVE your bunny page. LOL You made me smile, which I so needed this morning. I also love the photo of your cat. LOL My kitties often sport that fierce face--and all for the love of sleep on the mat or pillow! :D Have a beautiful day.

Oh, GIGGLES ...the look on poor Blackie's face...& the sort of slinking, ears back look....oh, that is CRUELTY to scaredy-cats in the extreme!!!
Lucky she has her Haven inside!
Love your rabbit & the verse..... I sooo wish I could draw. I tried that script writing that's all the rage atm....even bought the pens etc etc.....& totally FAILED....been too well trained in calligraphy, in a particular style to change now. Double sigh......& about to head over to the DD blog.....I am GOING TO JOIN IN this year! I have prepared my book already....challenge free month, you see [winks]...sorry for the long comment. Your fault. You shouldn't be so absent or busy, heeheee!!!

Awww, poor Blackie! Would not have enjoyed this nearly as much without having read the later post first about he Blackie joined the family. That photo has amazing composition for a sudden impromptu opportunity - you have such amazing skills at capturing things visually!

Backtracking through your cat posts this week - I would love to have a cat again, but that is not to be. He is certainly the perfect boo for Halloween!

Your rabbit drawing is wonderful, especially the work you did on its fur. Blackie is a gorgeous cat, whose personality reminds me of mine, who doesn't even try to step out when the door is wide open. Blessings, my friend!
