Sunday Sketches and Our Beautiful World #110

Its been a very busy week, and at the moment I'm away interstate with work so haven't been able to visit blogs - but I'll catch up soon!

The word this week is....

VACANT

At a local mountain side chair-lift sees Winter time closure...
its too cold, so the chairs remain vacant looking over a magnificent view...
In winter - the only option is walking up the zigzag track to the top of the mountain

Hi Mandy! :))
Love your quote very much and how you expressed it. And I love the picture of the chair-lift,I get dizzy just looking at it :) Thanks for climbing up there to take a picture of an empty chair-lift :))

Have a wonderful week! :)

PS: Today was the monthly "fish" market here, and there was an old
guy with old books. I found two nice ones, one I'm going to use for quotes just like you do (if I ever get that good;)but the other one I think I might spare, it's an old reading book from German highschools from 1926 :)
The one I will use is an old world atlas from 1939, in the first half
there is alot of information about the countries, the second half is maps. The information part I will use, the maps I'll leave as they are :)

Love the quotation and the artwork. :-) It's definitely words to live by. I find the "vacant" post interesting as well. I am enjoying the fact that in this link-blogs I have learned and come acquainted with many things - used to have not paid attention before but not they are interesting - like now "vacant"... Thank you.

Have a great week!

I really like the sentiment of your quote. I read something recently that said something like - if the situation's not going your way, yell "Plot Twist" and move on. Your "vacant" photo is so perfect for that theme.

What beautiful pages! Your quote is absolutely PERFECT, and I love what you did with your art work here, too! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with all of us! Your photo of the empty chair life is so wonderful for the word vacant, too! It really draws me in!
