theme for the photo is
 'Stillness'

Even though Paige has only 3 weeks home with us,
she was asked to join her old quartet for a concert
Panicked she hadn't picked up her violin since February,
she managed to get time alone on stage, just her with me watching, and the acoustics...
She starts with Vivaldi's Four Seasons,
her favourite and knows it by heart. As soon as she lifted that bow
to her violin,  I was searching through my bag for my camera but stopped in my tracks...
it was as if she had never stopped playing.
She moves her body, lowers and lifts her violin like she dances with it
and it sung.  I  managed to grab my camera for this moment in a big empty space
She doesn't even notice me......consumed, there was no
'Oh mum, no photos - trying to concentrate'

I will never get sick of hearing her play.

Awww...loved your thoughts about your girl on her violin! Nothing like music to soothe the soul. Although art fits right in there, too....as well as Chamomile tea! LOOOOVE that illustration, especially the little flower decorations:):)

I'm really liking your altered pages. Is it an old book that you've made into a journal. I still have vivaldis four seasons playing in my head. So lovely. Thank u :)

I can almost hear the music floating out to me from the computer! What very beautiful photos! While there is music and lovely young people to play it, all will be well!

A lovely page. How lovely to have such a talented daughter. My son is studying Performing Arts at college and it is such a special feeling when I see him perform on stage.

Goodness. Color me impressed. It's been a long time since I used my Twinks, but you have inspired me tremendously. Of course, I have no drawing skills like you. Your cup and saucer are phenomenal. And the way you colored them with SOC colors is simply astounding.
