"Pathway"

July is a snowy cold month!
Cradle Mountain always puts on a show!
Lucky  for the chicken wire hammered down on the pathway...  it becomes less slippery.
 Hannah follows Paige....

Treading a  new path....

The island of Tasmania lies between the mainland Australia to its north
and Antarctica to its south.....
and yes in winter, parts of Tasmania gets a good layer of snow.

Hope you can show us your photographic pathway stories!

What a great drawning at an old German book sheet!
(Only now I see: it's in one post and I cannot separately commenting)
Have a nice sunday, I send you warm sunshine

I also absolutely love your altered book page!
Nice drawing and quote :-)

Mmm... cool snow... I would like to dive in it, as here in Belgium it is around 35°C (95°F) at the moment.
Btw I didn't knew it could snow in Tasmania!

The turtle is so cute! How could I not love it, we have over hundred turtles counted in our garden, from tiny to fully grown. Sometimes we are amazed how fast they can be.
Stay warm while we try to stay cool :)!

We had so much snow here last winter that I got the shivers just looking at your snowy path...I like your journal art work. Very pretty and, I agree, it doesn't matter how fast you get to where you're going, it only matters that you make it there.

wow.... looking at snow in July feels delicious, with all the terrible heat (and drought!) we have been having in California, thanks for sharing!
I love the turtle for the SOC, adorable! ♥

I have such a hard time picturing snow in July! So funny how polar opposite our years are! Love the photos and love your amazing journal page! Your tortoise is fabulous! LOVE that sentiment, too!

Thank you for your wonderful comments on my blog, Mandy. I enjoyed seeing your turtle in red, red, and metallic. He/she is really gorgeous. And I love the background pages of your journal in the old German script. I actually knew someone from Tasmania years ago when my dh was in grad school. Bruce Mainsbridge, who has gone now, taught Marine biology at Rice U in Houston.

I loved this OBW theme Mandy, thank you! It even inspired me to make a little fabric work. Your photos are beautiful, wonderful shots. What a difference to where I live! Here it's been so warm, hot even. And to see snow in July... brrr :) Tasmania looks so beautiful, must be a wonderful place to visit. Your paintings are so gorgeous! Wonderful turtle one, and love the text you added to it :)
